Funeral Director / Founder
Carolyn Herring‑Albritton is a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer with more than 20 years of experience leading, managing, and directing all aspects of funeral home operations. As the Owner and Funeral Director in Charge of Wilcox Family Funeral Home, she oversees daily operations, regulatory compliance, staff leadership, and the compassionate care of every family served. Her expertise spans preparation and care of decedents, administrative and fiscal management, community outreach, and strategic planning.
Carolyn is also the Founder of Wilcox Little Angels, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting families who have experienced the loss of an infant. Through this program, she provides financial assistance, resources, and compassionate support to grieving parents, extending her mission of service beyond the funeral home.
In addition to her funeral service leadership, Carolyn has years of experience as a licensed insurance agent, specializing in Medicare, life, health, and critical care products. Her diverse background in business management, public relations, and community engagement has made her a respected professional and trusted advocate for families in need.
Driven by integrity, compassion, and excellence, Carolyn continues to build a legacy rooted in service to her community and dedication to the families she is honored to serve.
Christina Mills
Board Member
Christina Mills is a versatile and dedicated professional with experience spanning laboratory science, veterinary medicine, and funeral service. She currently works full‑time as a Veterinary Assistant and trained Technician at Skylake Animal Hospital, where she supports patient care, performs diagnostic testing, prepares surgical equipment, and communicates closely with pet owners about medical needs.
Alongside her veterinary career, Christina serves as a Board Member and Funeral Assistant for Wilcox Family Funeral Home and its nonprofit program, Wilcox Little Angels. In this role, she assists grieving families, manages confidential documentation, writes grants, coordinates donations, and helps expand community outreach for families experiencing infant loss.
Christina is enrolled full‑time in the Funeral Service Program at Miami Dade College, where she is excelling academically and preparing to become a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. She also holds an Advanced Grant Writing Certification. With her compassion, technical skill, and commitment to service, Christina is emerging as a strong next‑generation leader within the funeral profession
Vivian haigler
Board Member
Vivian is a dedicated community advocate whose life’s work reflects compassion, service, and a deep commitment to supporting children and families. With a career spanning social services, youth development, and public service, she brings a wealth of experience and a steady, thoughtful presence to every role she undertakes.
Her professional journey began with the City of Jacksonville, Florida, where she served as a Leisure Service Specialist. In this role, she screened applicants for community programs and provided life‑management skills to participants, strengthening her ability to assess needs, support families, and guide individuals toward stability and growth.
Vivian later continued her service at the Duval Regional Detention Center as a Community Youth Leader, coordinating programs designed to meet the unique needs of delinquent youth. Her work emphasized positive development, structure, and accountability—values that continue to shape her leadership today.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of North Florida (1984), grounding her in ethics, accountability, and community‑focused decision‑making.
After more than two decades of dedicated service, Vivian retired from the Jacksonville Transportation Authority on December 9, 2025, following 21 years of commitment to public service. Retirement has allowed her the time and flexibility to deepen her involvement in community initiatives and mission‑driven organizations.
In October 2025, Vivian joined the Board of Wilcox Little Angels, where her passion for nurturing safe, supportive environments for children aligns seamlessly with the organization’s mission. As a board member, she actively participates in meetings, supports fundraising and outreach efforts, and collaborates with fellow board members to ensure the continued growth and impact of the program.
Vivian’s professional background, life experience, and unwavering dedication to service make her a valued leader and a compassionate advocate for families experiencing infant loss. Her presence on the board strengthens the heart and mission of Wilcox Little Angels.
Natalie boyer
Board Member
Natalie Boyer is a dedicated Health Support Specialist with the Florida Department of Health, bringing over 25 years of experience serving women, children, and families in her community. Her work has strengthened her communication skills, deepened her compassion, and fueled her commitment to improving health and nutritional outcomes for vulnerable populations. Having spent her career in the same community where she was raised, Natalie approaches every family with empathy, cultural awareness, and genuine care.
She holds an associate in arts degree from Miami Dade College and is actively expanding her skills by studying Spanish and Creole to better serve the diverse families she supports. Natalie is also a valued Board Member of Wilcox Little Angels, where she volunteers at food drives, community events, and special programs that provide comfort and resources to families experiencing infant loss. Her dedication, reliability, and heart for service make her an essential part of the organization’s mission.
